Large room (401) but all rooms are different in size. Being at busy street side was not disturbing. Large wide screen TV with channels from lots of countries. Great breakfast but cooked items have to be ordered. 35 CHF (continental for 20 does not give much). Location is perfect, 10-15 minutes walk from station. THE hotel to stay in Lucerne. If breakfast ordered in room, it gets very expensive as everything above the most basic continental breakfast has to be paid for, with huge prices (like 2 Euro for an egg). No flat price of 35 CHF like in the restaurant, so I did not use this service (not a real problem of course), but (nice) it can be ordered for any time from 6 AM by hanging the order on the door. |

goede positie ik had bij de reservering de voorwaarde gesteld dat ik voor het hotel wilde parkerenivm wat dure fietsen die achterop de wagen stonden Dat was akkoord gegeven.Bij aankomst was er nog plaats voor ongeveer 10 auto's. Echter onze auto mocht daar niet staan ondanks dat men eerst dat wel had toegezegd. Er hebben die nacht 2 mercedesssen gestaan en de 10 plaatsen zijn leeg gebleven. Belachelijk! |

Hotel was very posh, but room was lacking in features & style. $100 CHF less would be more reasonable for their smaller rooms. And why not just include breakfeast? |

The staff were trying hard to please and the pool was clean an a fair size. A poorly renovated portion of the original Ritz hotel. Our room - apparently an extended mezzanine of the original dining room - was very noisy from Saturday night revellers on the quay and from the rooms alongside and above. The walk-in wardrobe opened from the bathroom was without light. The hotel has many non-smoking rooms but no non-smoking places in the bar or restaurant |

We received a very good rate on Bookings.Com at the last minute. It was good value for money. I would not recommend at regular rates. |

The location and the lake view The size of the room (lake side) was too small for Double occupancy in a 5 stars hotel and for the paid rate , it may be ok for single but definately not for (2) two, the other room for my older children (city view) was ok |
