Hotel was very posh, but room was lacking in features & style. $100 CHF less would be more reasonable for their smaller rooms. And why not just include breakfeast? |

The staff were trying hard to please and the pool was clean an a fair size. A poorly renovated portion of the original Ritz hotel. Our room - apparently an extended mezzanine of the original dining room - was very noisy from Saturday night revellers on the quay and from the rooms alongside and above. The walk-in wardrobe opened from the bathroom was without light. The hotel has many non-smoking rooms but no non-smoking places in the bar or restaurant |

We received a very good rate on Bookings.Com at the last minute. It was good value for money. I would not recommend at regular rates. |

The location and the lake view The size of the room (lake side) was too small for Double occupancy in a 5 stars hotel and for the paid rate , it may be ok for single but definately not for (2) two, the other room for my older children (city view) was ok |

i think they should include breakfast in the room rate...or charge a more reasonable rate. However, having said this, I must say to their credit, I sat with my husband to eat breakfast, and I didnt ask for a reduction, but they noticed I brought my own cereal, and bread ( I have celiac disease), and I only asked for coffee and then took some fruit and a little cottage cheese. I was amazed that ,without anyone saying anything, they didnt even charge me for breakfast. Hats off to them. |
