The completely renovated Hotel Cornavin enjoys an ideal and quiet location in the very heart of Geneva, just one minute from the train station and 5 minutes from the international organizations.

Surrounded by banks and shops, the hotel is also very close to the lake and is one of the most modern hotels in town. A special feature is the world’s largest pendulum - it hangs from the ninth floor and swings right down to the ground floor in the lobby of the hotel. The total length is 30.02 metres. The panoramic view of Geneva from the breakfast floor (eighth floor) is particularly impressive.

The receptionist called at 1 during the night to ask for my date of birth, which he apparently forgot to check on when checking in. Naturally I was asleep ... very disturbing!!! This could have waited till the next morning.

Good size room, clean, good price considering location. Free public transportation passes.

No parking. Bathroom wall is made of glass which means that the whole room lights up when someone uses the bathroom at night.

Booked via your website with Diners Club. When checked out of hotel - they do not accept Diners. Had no other credit card therefore must pay via bank transfer. Also room quite noisy on railway side.
